Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026
This page explains what WellMet collects, why, and what you can do about it. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The short version
- Mobile accounts use your country code and mobile number, your answers, and your first name if you give it. No email is requested for these accounts.
- We use them to save your assessment progress and provide the results available in your chosen experience.
- Starter saves your answers for partner comparison. It does not create an AI Snapshot. The earlier Snapshot experience is described separately below.
- Nobody else sees your answers unless you choose to share them.
- We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct or erase your data at any time. Email beherenow2100@proton.me.
Who runs this
The legal operator identity for WellMet has not yet been published. For anything about your data, email beherenow2100@proton.me.
What we collect
- Your saved answers to our 13 questions, including selected reasons, uncertain or declined choices, and written explanations. We also keep any personal reminder notes you choose to save during a comparison.
- Your country code and mobile number for mobile signup and sign-in, and your first name if you give it. Earlier Snapshot records may retain the email address provided under their original notice.
- What you ticked on the last screen, and when.
- Whether you found your Snapshot useful, if you tell us.
- Basic product-use actions, such as opening the area preview, viewing or completing a question number, opening registration and using invitations. These events use a random identifier for a browser tab, bounded to each day. They do not contain your answers, reasons, notes, name, phone number, invitation token or the page URL, and the anonymous activity is not joined to your account.
- We record only recognised campaign/source tags, such as WhatsApp and a feedback campaign. Unknown tag values are discarded. The report keeps browser sessions separate from registered-account and invitation milestones; neither count establishes a unique person.
- A cookie that keeps you signed in on this device. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Product-use measurement
We use first-party events to understand where people start, continue or leave the experience. We do not send these events to Google Analytics or an advertising service. The random tab identifier is stored in session storage, rather than a tracking cookie. A separate browser preference can exclude demonstrations from measurement.
Reports cover up to 30 days. Older anonymous events are cleaned up during subsequent event collection; cleanup is not a separately scheduled deletion service. Demonstrations marked as excluded, local previews and automated tests stay out of measured production totals. Older server milestones whose traffic type is unknown are shown separately, if available.
Why we use it
- To save Starter progress, manage invitations and show selected choices and reasons side by side after both people choose to compare and finish their answers. Each partner comparison is separate.
- When you create or accept a new invitation, or explicitly update an earlier comparison, your saved answers and preferences are used for that comparison, including answers you save later. Your partner can see selected answers and reasons, but not your written explanations or mobile number. Earlier invitations and results keep their original scope until both people choose the updated comparison. Earlier results remain available.
- Written explanations are assessment answers and may inform future AI comparison or matching features. The current comparison does not send them to AI or show them to your partner. Personal reminder notes kept during a discussion are excluded from comparison, matching and AI inputs.
- To record membership interest when you select Make payment, retain the offer you selected, notify our team with your account contact details, and follow up about your interest. This step records interest; it does not charge you or activate a paid plan.
- In the earlier Snapshot experience, to create and retain your personal Snapshot.
- To keep your answers so you can come back to them.
- To provide account codes and, with your permission, contact you by SMS or WhatsApp about your assessment and next steps. During this limited beta and in the local preview, codes are displayed on screen; no message is sent. Displayed codes do not verify ownership of a mobile number.
- To improve the questions and the Snapshot. People on our team may read answers for this. They never share them.
We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't show it to your family, to anyone you might meet through us, or to anyone else you haven't chosen.
Earlier Snapshot experience and AI
- The earlier /test experience creates a personal Snapshot using code, with optional AI assistance. Depending on the configured provider, Google's Gemini or Anthropic can receive the situations, selected answers, written responses and draft observations. Account name, mobile number and email fields are not included in that request. Anything identifying you that you type into an answer may still be included.
- If AI is unavailable or disabled, the earlier Snapshot uses code-written observations. AI can be wrong; neither the Snapshot nor Starter verifies a person's behaviour or decides whom you should marry.
- Current Starter comparison, additional situations and preference follow-ups use saved structured answers and code-defined content; they do not send those answers to an AI tool.
Where your data is kept
Hosted accounts and answers use our configured database and hosting services. The local development preview keeps its own local database. In the earlier Snapshot experience, an enabled AI provider also processes the answer material described above on its servers, which may be outside India.
Who we share it with
- Companies that help us run the service: hosting, the database, message delivery when enabled, and the AI tool. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- When SMS or WhatsApp code delivery is enabled, the provider receives your mobile number and one-time code, not your relationship answers or private notes. No messaging provider is connected for this limited beta or the local preview.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
Nobody else.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you use the service, or until you ask us to erase it.
Your rights
- See a summary of the data we hold about you.
- Correct it, or bring it up to date.
- Have it erased.
- Withdraw your consent. We then stop using your data and erase it, unless the law says we must keep it.
- Name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or can no longer act for yourself.
- Complain to us. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, email beherenow2100@proton.me.
Children
This service is only for people aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, please don't use it.
Keeping it safe
Your data travels over encrypted connections. Only our server can read the database. Where partner comparisons are available, selected choices and reasons are shared only through an invitation you send or accept; private notes are never included.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, we ask for your consent again. New account acceptances record the updated notice version; earlier consent records retain their recorded version.
